Tape drive maintenance
Standard 1.0 Modular Option EC Installation and Maintenance Guide November 1999
7 After a suitable period (that is, several minutes), press the
release button to disengage the cartridge.
The door opens and the tape drive stops running.
8 Remove the cartridge and store it in its original container.
Store the cleaning cartridge in its original container and put it
away until its next use.
9 Wait a couple of minutes for the tape heads to dry before using
the tape drive.
