Configuring a U.S.
Robotics modem as a
remote modem
To configure the modem to be used at the remote terminal,
power up the modem and follow these steps.
Power the modem down and set the DIP switches to their
final setting (shown in boldface) as follows.

through RS-232 cable, and
power on the modem.
