Installing CHARON-SSP Manager for Windows
Step Description
1.
Right-click the zip archive, and select SSP-Manager for Windows.zip Extract All...
2.
A window titled will display. On this window:Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders
Click the checkbox labelled Show extracted files when complete.
Click the button labelled Extract.
3.
A new window will open showing the extracted packages.Windows Explorer
4.
Double-click the executable to begin the installation.setup.exe
5.
If you are presented with an window, the button labelled Open File - Security Warning click Run.
6.
You should now be presented with the To proceed with the installation the buttonSSP-Manager Setup Wizard. click
labelled Next.
7.
To accept the default installation options, simply the button labelled without modifying any options.click Next
Alternatively the following installation options can be adjusted:
Click the button labelled to select an alternative installation target.Browse
Click the appropriate radio button, or to specify system-wide or private installation,Everyone Just for Me
respectively.
To determine the approximate disk usage, post install, the button labelled click Disk Cost.
Once all options have been set, the button labelled click Next.
8.
Proceed with the installation by the button labelled clicking Next.
9.
Once the installation has completed, the button labelled to exit the SSP-Manager Setup Wizard.click Close
10. The installation process will have created:
An icon on the desktop, andSSP-Manager
A folder under the menu.Stromasys/CHARON-Manager/SSP-Manager Start
Post Installation Tasks
The following post-installation tasks are not required however, they are highly recommended.
If you are presented with the following error, CHARON-SSP Manager for Windows isWindows Installer
already installed and you need to follow the procedure documented in Upgrading the CHARON-SSP Manager
