Instructions for Securing Sentinel HASP GUI

Step Description

Open a web browser and navigate the http://localhost:1947.

Click on the left-hand menu item labelled .Configuration

Click the tab.Basic Settings

Under the entry labelled the button labelled .Password Protection, click Change Password

At the window:Change Password

Leave the field labelled blank (there is no password set by default).Current Admin Password

Enter the intended password into the field labelled .New Admin Password

Repeat the intended password in the field labelled Re-enter new Admin Password.

Click the button labelled Submit.

Back at the tab:Basic Settings

Under the section labelled select the radio button labelled Password Protection, All ACC Pages.

Click the button labelled to save this change.Submit

6. To allow remote access to the Sentinel HASP GUI:

Click the tab.Basic Settings

Select the check box.Allow Remote Access to ACC

Click the button labelled Submit.

Removing the Sentinel HASP Software

To remove the Sentinel HASP software, execute the following command:

Sentinel HASP Uninstall Command

# yum remove aksusbd

Executing the command above should generate output similar to the following. When asked "Is this ok?" Check the list of software to ensure it

only includes the package and answer es) to proceed.aksusbd y(
