Using Storport Driver

To use the Storport driver, you must first download the hotfix. Information on

downloading the hotfix is available at:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/916048/en-us

As of July 20, 2006, the latest Windows 2003 hotfix is 916048. The executable

name is

WindowsServer2003-KB916048-x86-ENU.exe for 32-bit. There is

also a 64-bit version

x64, and an Itanium Processor version ia64. This Windows

2003 hotfix brings the

storport.sys driver to 5.2.3790.2723.

QLogic Parameters

Table 8 shows the recommended values for the HBAs. Only the parameters that

should be changed are shown.
