General Server Hardware
List the following hardware information for every server machine:
• Make and model
• Your customer ID with the vendor
• Technical support information
• Telephone number
• Support hours
• Name of your account manager and his or her telephone or pager
number
• Vendor’s Web page
CPU Resources per Machine
List the following CPU information for each server machine:
• Total number of processors and their speed
• Number of processors available to ASE
• Other CPU-intensive processes sharing those processors
• List of processes/threads bound to specific CPUs
• List of processes/threads run at high priority
Disk Configuration
Use worksheets like those in the following examples to gather the following
disk I/O information:
